Donna Scheidt

Donna Scheidt has worked at the center since 1983.  She has worked in the position of teacher, assistant director, and has been the Executive Director since 1994.  Ms. Scheidt has an Associate of Science in Child Development and a Bachelor of Science in Human and Environmental Science.  She has worked in the Parents As Teachers program, is certified in Creative Curriculum, and is a certified Parent Café host through the Strengthening Families approach.

She has served on the Jefferson City Area Early Childhood Advisory committee, the Cole County Directors Network, the Missouri Board for Early Education, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Child Care Food Program Task Force, the Jefferson City High School Family and Consumer Science Advisory Committee, the Job Point Business Advisory Council and the United Way Speaker’s Bureau.  She is a recipient of the NAEYC’s Central Missouri’s Early Childhood Education and Achievement Award. Donna is trained in Positive Behavior Support and Conscious Discipline and is CPR and First Aide Certified.
